A Bit About Child & Teen Therapy

Social Workers can also be known as psychotherapists, counsellors, therapists, or clinicians.

In sessions, I help children and teens achieve happier, healthier and more productive lives. Through the use of various psychotherapy methods Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- CBT, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy - DBT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy- ACT, my clients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. Further, I incorporate expressive modalities (play, art, drama, music, movement, yoga) into the therapeutic sessions.

My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide clients with effective tools to help cope with problematic aspects of their lives.
